A LITTLE NOTE ABOUT PRIVACY
Your moments belong to you.
Sending Something is developing a service for turning your pictures and messages into real postcards. This notice describes this coming-soon website; it is not the future full postcard service's privacy policy.
Early-access email list
If we enable the optional early-access list and you expressly consent to email updates, we collect your name and email address, plus an optional business name. We use Resend to securely hold these launch contacts, and Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce spam. We record the time and source of the email consent.
If you separately request text updates, we also store your mobile number, the consent date and version of the SMS disclosure. If you do not check the optional text consent box, we do not save your mobile number. Signing up for email does not automatically subscribe you to SMS.
Text messaging is not yet active. The launch list may record your interest, but before any automated promotional text goes out we will obtain any required carrier registration, verify phone permission as appropriate, and provide working STOP and HELP handling. See SMS terms.
We retain the early-access profile until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or the launch list is retired. Marketing email messages will provide an unsubscribe option. Promotional texts, if we launch them, will include a way to stop them.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Information is shared only with service providers needed to process the signup, protect it from abuse, and deliver communications you have explicitly requested. We do not sell the early-access list.
The postcard demo
When you choose an image in the demo, it stays inside the current browser session. The demo asks for fictional recipient details and does not send them to a server. Closing or reloading the page clears the draft. Please don't use real recipient details while testing the prototype.
Website operation
Our hosting provider may process limited technical information, such as a request's IP address, browser information and standard server logs, to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. We are not currently operating a marketing analytics tracker on this page. External spam verification is loaded only when the signup form is available.
Changes before launch
Before we process real postcard orders, we will publish additional information about photo processing, postal addresses, fulfillment partners, payment processing, retention, and customer support. Any new services will be reviewed before activation.
Contact and deletion requests
For people who sign up for launch messages, every email will provide a way to unsubscribe or contact the sender for privacy questions. A dedicated contact address will appear here once the public signup form is activated.
